Sitting here in Boulder I’ve been thinking what it’s going to be like coming home to my home territory for the first time since I’ve moved out here. I am so used to the Boulder energy that when I go elsewhere I am almost disappointed with the lack of creative atmosphere I am surrounded by in each particular place.
Boston I’ve been told is going to be different. Looking over the “has tickets” list I can say that I am officially stoked about all the people I see on the list. It should be a great weekend for creatives, techies and everyone else who participates. I’m looking forward to meeting like minded people in New England that I had a hard time finding when I was out there for the past 25 years. Perhaps I was too close minded to even give Boston a chance. Perhaps I thought that it was like the rest of New England which is not as strong in the tech market as where I live now. I’ve done some research and noticed that Boston seems like quite the place for technology folks to get together.
That being said my attitude towards the technology and creative atmosphere in New England has changed and I’m happy about that. I’m ready to be blown away even more by everyone. I hope we all walk away from this weekend proud of what we are going to accomplish, happy with our newfound relationships and enlightened about the different areas of technology that exist across the country.
I’ll see you all soon and I can’t wait to see what all of our minds can create over the weekend.
