Startup Weekend Boston

Fifty-two such geeks came together on a recent Friday evening, fresh from their day jobs, to build a full-fledged business from brainstorm to beta, at Startup Weekend Boston.

The deskhappy crew has been meeting and developing their product over the last week, and even pitching it to investors. I am very interested in the feedback and exposure this article gets this great community and company.

Mike has been working on Business Development, if you’ve got some money, he’s got some numbers he’d like to show you.

Love can bloom just about anywhere. This time it struck at Startup Weekend. After a rocky start and a hug-it-out session with a mediator, Jeff and Christina have become the closest of friends.

Chris has been working with the devs this weekend, and now, may be getting a few of his own projects off the ground.

Julie was our legal team this week, seeing that everything was signed, filed and well… Legal. She did a hell of a job. Thanks Julie!

Highs and lows of Sunday as told by Cynthia.

We’re tying it all together now and then we’ll release this beast to the world. We’ve got Jake plugging the design into our Ruby code and we’ve got some others working on the email functionality and Ben combing over things and making sure we’re good to go.

I was just told that Dev has made over 80 revisions to the code in one day. That’s pretty damn impressive if you ask me and it’s a testament to the level of coders we have here at the weekend.

They are dedicated to getting a clean product out there for everyone to use during the beta. From what I’ve seen this beta should be pretty clean and should not need a complete overhaul of coding when launching publicy in the coming months.
